Hampton Inn,
A cloudy drizzly morning did not stop us from touring the city. We walked a few blocks down
Granville Island, not really and island, used to be a run down industrial area, but good planning turned it into a hip urban market, especially on the weekends.
Since most of the market is indoors, we strolled through the busy stands without getting wet.
The market has a special building called Kids market, with toy stores and other kids activities. We spent a lot of time there. As the rain let up we decided to continue walking around. We reached Broadway, but turned into the wrong side, meaning not so interesting. We had a late lunch in a Korean restaurant, and it wasn’t such a big hit (culinary strike 3). People said
It started raining as we walked out of the restaurant. We took a bus back to the center of downtown and walked two blocks on
From the library, 2 blocks and we were back at the hotel, getting ready for an early evening to bed. We are all very tired.
Good Night,
