Today was a beautiful sunny day. Finally. We drove into town from last night’s campground straight to tonight’s destination. This is a new campground right on the water and is part of a marina residence project that includes houses floating on the water.
After making some phone calls we took an expensive water taxi across the harbor to downtown
We headed to the Bug Zoo, but on the way saw a nice French Bistro so we popped in for lunch. It was French alright – very tasty, small portions, slow service. On a full stomach we walked half a block and reached the bug museum. It is actually 2 large rooms with lots of aquariums, each housing various critters. The kids enjoyed it for a few minutes and then ran off to a corner where they could draw with color pencils. After the bugs, we walked around a bit and checked out a local shopping mall. Funny thing is that when Paola goes shopping, I am usually the one that finds something for himself (t-shirts this time).

It was getting late and we found a nice Italian place called Luciano’s. The food was good and we all got onto a road taxi this time to get back to the RV.
