Shir had a bad night, but aside a cursed predawn hour where both Paola and I tried to comfort her, it was a long sleepful night. We tried to get ourselves organized early, but it was only 10:30 when we finally left the campground. We drove up through the north end of the
We all slept until about 9 this morning. Ron was a bit cold at 6am so Paola turned on the heater. By the time we got up 3 hours later, the RV was like a sweatshop. The weather here in the past few days has been great, going up to 29C in the day, and down to 5-10C at night.

I got up at 4:30am and took the RV into

Today was a laid back city day. We started off by strolling the streets around town square, visiting art galleries and such. As a comedic relief for the kids, we took a 15 minute stagecoach ride around town. The kids liked it, even though sitting inside you can’t really see the 2 horses drawing the carriage, just here their footsteps and smell their manure. (more…)

After 3 nights without a hookup, we are staying at a hotel here in the park. We wanted to stay in the campground here at

We woke up after 9 today. The Bison left the meadow during the night. From the RV window, Ron and Shir spotted a “ground squirrel and his wife†fooling around near their hole. We got through the morning duties, always a bit slower without a hookup (no microwave to warm the milk, visit to the dump station for dumping and fresh water), and set off to see more
